Terms of Service

Last updated: July 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Linky, operated as a hosted link management service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Linky provides URL shortening, smart routing (by country, device, schedule, and other rules), custom domains, link expiry, click analytics, QR codes, and related features. We may add, change, or remove features. We try to give reasonable notice for material changes when possible.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure.

You must provide accurate information and not impersonate others or create accounts for abusive purposes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Linky to:

  • Link to or distribute malware, phishing, scams, or illegal content
  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages
  • Violate intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
  • Harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Circumvent security, rate limits, or access controls
  • Overload or disrupt the service or other users
  • Collect personal data from link visitors without lawful basis

We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate accounts without refund where abuse or risk is involved.

Custom domains

If you connect a custom domain, you must control that domain and keep DNS records accurate. You are responsible for compliance with your domain registrar's terms. We may revoke certificates or domain routing if verification fails or the domain is used for abuse.

Free and paid plans

Linky offers Free ($0/month), Pro ($15/month or $144/year), and Business ($49/month or $468/year) plans. Limits on links, clicks, domains, and seats vary by plan — see pricing for current details.

We may change limits on reasonable notice. Paid subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected at checkout. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that redirects will always reach every destination (for example, if a third-party site is down).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linky and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars ($50).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Linky from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your links, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service.

Sections that by nature should survive (limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law) survive termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated in the dashboard or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue for disputes, except where consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
